Well marijuana is a natural bronchial dilator, which is why it helps with asthma. So if you have asthma or any breathing problems, quitting pot can make the symptoms come back. Marijuana may have been helping you with that. Congratulations on quitting the cigarettes though. My grandfather died of lung cancer because he smoked cigarettes his whole life.
Anyway, yes, it probably is related to you quitting. Not just quitting cold turkey, but quitting at all. What are your reasons for quitting pot? You could buy a vaporizer if you’re worried about the smoke. It is definitely healthier. The vapor is still marijuana, so there are still cannabinoids which dilate bronchioles to loosen constriction on air passageways.
